The Nail Technician Diploma Program at Cosmopolitan
Makeup Artistry College is a comprehensive 12-week training program
designed to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and hands-on
experience needed to succeed in the professional nail industry.
The first 8 weeks of the program are delivered 100%
online, combining in-depth theory with practical demonstrations. Students
will explore core topics such as nail anatomy, sanitation and safety, nail
diseases and disorders, product knowledge, and client communication. Practical
training will focus on manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic application,
nail art techniques, and the latest trends in nail design—guided by experienced
industry professionals through interactive virtual classes and assignments.
The final 4 weeks consist of a Practicum
Placement, where students apply their learning in a real-world salon or spa
environment. This placement provides valuable hands-on experience, helping
students build confidence, refine their skills, and develop professional
relationships within the beauty industry.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will
be awarded a Nail Technician Diploma, qualifying them for positions in
salons, & spas, or to launch their own nail services business.

Weeks 1-8 are in class theoretical instruction and guided practice.
Weeks 9-12 are practicum placement in the field.
